At Legend, we believe a smooth, fast and stress-free installation is just as important as the internet service itself. Here’s what to expect before, during and after your installation so you’re fully prepared.
Once you’ve signed up for Legend Fiber, we’ll schedule a convenient installation date with you. Before then:
Pre-installation checks: We may carry out a quick survey of your property to plan the best route for bringing our fiber service into your home.
Communication: You’ll get reminders via SMS, email or a phone call confirming your installation date and time window.
Preparation tips: We’ll let you know if you need to be home, and what areas of your property we might need access to (like walls near your router or the front of your home).
Our installation team will arrive within the agreed time window and carry a Legend ID for verification. Here’s how the day will go:
Arrival & greeting: Our friendly engineers will introduce themselves and walk you through the installation plan.
Outside work: They’ll connect a fiber cable from the nearest Legend network point to the outside of your home.
Inside setup: Next, they’ll bring the fiber line into your home and install a small device known as an Optical Network Terminal (ONT).
Router connection: We’ll connect your router and ensure everything’s working perfectly before we leave.
Final test & clean-up: Our team will run a speed test, tidy up, and answer any last questions you may have.
